Illuminating Heritage: Electrical Upgrades at the National Art School

Rotric successfully completed the electrical upgrade project at the National Art School, enhancing power distribution, lighting, and control systems to support the site’s unique heritage and modern functionality.

The project included the installation of a new Main Distribution Board (MDB) and a parallel set of 300mm submains running over 130 meters between the Main Switchboard (MSB) and MDB. A new distribution board was installed to improve power management and reliability. Structured cabling was integrated to support connectivity and future technology needs.

Significant upgrades were made to the Cell Block Theatre, including new power, lighting, and a lighting control system to enhance its usability for performances and events. External lighting was carefully designed to showcase the historic building facades, incorporating uplighting, spotlights, bollard lights, and dynamic LED RGBW lighting to highlight architectural features and improve nighttime aesthetics.

This project ensures the National Art School has a reliable, modern electrical infrastructure while preserving and enhancing its iconic campus.
